Episode Overview
After responding to the scene of Sophie's car crash, Ben struggles to process the emotional toll of treating familiar faces. Although Sophie and her kids survive the head-on collision caused by her impaired driving, her friends are left reeling when they learn about her reckless behavior the night before. Determined to keep her children from being taken by her father-in-law, Sophie confronts him from her hospital bed, dragging Terri and Peter into a tense situation that will alter their lives forever. Meanwhile, Bron's charity netball match falls apart as personal conflicts arise on the court, and Von's New Year's resolution appears to be slipping away. Additionally, a comment made in the operating room leads a nurse to file a negligence report against Luke.
