In Your Absence (2008)
Plot
Thirteen-year-old Pablo struggles with loneliness and a troubled history, finding solace only in his friend Julia, a bold 15-year-old eager to guide him through the complexities of growing up, including matters of love and sex. When he encounters Paco, a composed and impeccably dressed stranger whose car has stalled on a serene country road, the situation takes an unexpected turn. Rather than focusing on his vehicle, Paco appears more intrigued by Pablo, leading to an unsettling yet pivotal moment in the boy's journey toward adolescence.
