The Bride (1973)
Plot
A migrant Anatolian family struggles to carve out a life in the harsh, unfamiliar landscape of urban Istanbul. A young woman relocates with her husband and toddler to live with his relatives. When her son falls gravely ill, a doctor warns he will die without surgery. The family, seeing nothing wrong with the boy, refuses to help. One Eid morning, a devastating confrontation finally shatters their fragile household.
