Plot
At first light, Halil collapses—dead, murdered. Elmas, his wife, wails for justice, yet no inquiry is ever opened. Her days continue: by morning, she labors in the rice fields, her small son at her side; by night, she joins the other villagers, hunting frogs in the dark.
