**Semiramis Pekkan** (born 30 September 1948) is a Turkish actress and singer whose career has spanned decades, marked by early stardom, a long hiatus, and a notable return.

The youngest daughter of a military officer and a housewife, Pekkan launched her film career in Tunç Başaran’s *Kara Memed*. She later appeared as a guest performer on the Meydan Stage between 1965 and 1966. In 1968, she shifted her focus to music, earning the prestigious Gold Record Award for her success. Over the years, she released three studio albums under the Columbia, Odeon, and Kervan labels.

Following her marriage, Pekkan stepped away from both cinema and music, remaining out of the public eye for decades. She ended her long retirement in 2022, returning to the stage and screen to the delight of longtime fans. Her legacy endures as one of Turkey’s versatile entertainment figures, celebrated for her contributions to both film and music during the late 1960s and early 1970s.
